I have taken a look on the MCRU website and all rather interesting. Never heard of the stuff you sell like canor, slic, longdog and others listed. I will do some searching on the net for more info I think

Intrigued by the SLIC Innovations Eclipse C cables even though I have never heard of them before.
Baffled by the term no cable at all, as that means I would hear nothing, but I think I get the gist.
It says there is a 30 day money back offer so worth a punt.
If its as good as the write-ups say on the website then this could be interesting as it will be up against Nordost Frey.

Lot of fuss made about SLIC cables on a couple of forums I see. Trying sort out what is truth and what is fiction, although most of the drama is about the price. Not cheap but not horrendously expensive either compared to some so I am assuming it's sour grapes from people who have shallow pockets as usual

Avoided the sillyness on forums and concentrated on what people have said they are hearing, so there are points of common reference each reviewer has found and also what other cables have been bettered by this particular cable. nordost valhalla too so can't all be bad. Not much info to be found on canor that's worthwhile and longdog are gaining some good reviews. Not in the market for either at the mo.

The guy who reviewed the SLIC on art of sound called "Effem" I knew years ago on the Hi-Fi Choice and Hifiwigwam forums and he was/is a person who knows lots about cables so I'm inclined to take his word they are very good sounding cables. Always wondered what happened to him and glad he is still around but puzzled why he left the wigwam

I'm hoping this forum doesn't go down the same route

The SLIC reviews are interesting. I have Albedo Flat Gold interconnects at the moment and a change is as good as a rest they say so I might give the SLIC a go. I can always send them back if they don't pan out or sell the Albedos if they are any good.

Got my SLIC Innovations interconnects today and giving them a spin now.
They are supposed to be already burnt in but I will let them run for a day or two before I pass any judgement on them although they sound great now fresh out the box

I'm not one for making snap judgements but after just a couple of hours listening I am stunned by what I can hear. I thought the Frey was a great cable but this SLIC one leaves it standing Bass has some real 'grunt' to it that the Frey never had, plus it really does fine details very well even though Frey is very good at that which pleases me already.

Haven't looked in at all on the forum today, have been engrossed in listening to music. Had a really late night last night playing CD after CD and tonight will probably be the same again I thought the Frey was excellent in the treble side of things yet the SLIC scrapes a lot more fine detail out of recordings and yet never sounds bright or harsh and the bass detail is something else again.
