These look interesting Magnetic levitation and ball bearings. Trouble is they only appear to work in one plane - vertical. I am struggling to see what good the ball bearings are contributing, they cannot move either way with the top plate in situ I said they looked interesting, nothing more

I'm not as wealthy as you lot obviously are I use slices of foam pipe insulation under my CD player which only costs a couple of quid from the local DIY store. Be sure though to get the ones where it isn't precut right through to allow it over the pipe. One and a half inch slices is plenty for the 6kg my player weighs and if they sag too much add more slices. Simples.

I use a mixture as nothing works with everythung. Ikea bamboo chopping boards and Ike cork mats are fantastic and so cheap it usually cost mor ein petrol than to buy what you need. Cork and Focul pods are used together and so too is cork and bamboo it just depends on the item. Remember most of the vibrations we all suffer from are not air born but inherent in the internal stuff and it's the electricity that is exciting things that does the damage. Also some of the 'racks' we use only magnify things. As to speakers experimentation is the only way to identify what is best four you. Oak cones are also something I have found to work well but I must say that at this point in time I have a preference for bamboo and cork. Hope this helps
